Mycobacterium senriense sp. nov., a slowly growing, non-scotochromogenic species, isolated from sputum of an elderly man.

A slowly growing mycobacteria, identified as strain TY59<sup>T</sup>, was isolated from sputum of an elderly man with pneumonia.
